Autumn Leaves

These lovely images of Fall leaves come from the internet, nevertheless I think they capture perfectly what is starting to happen in the park as I go for my walk.  I brought home a handful of brightly coloured leaves this morning and am pressing them.

I seem to have hit a slump in my blogging. Can't think of much to say. Anyone have some advice?
I'm sure this happens to all bloggers at times so,  if so, how did you get past it?

  1. What you're cooking, what you're seeing outside, what you're noticing and realizing, and what you're reading . . . all good bloggy material!
I like to press leaves, too!

  2. I am looking forward to seeing the leaves change. Great idea to press some for future enjoyment.
I think most of us hit a blog slump from time to time. I know I sure do. I can't tell you how many times I have been sure I'm going to quit altogether because I have nothing to say and then something pops into my head and before I know it, it's a blog post. Personally I agree with Pom Pom. I tend to enjoy the opportunity of seeing what life is like where other bloggers live, what they like to do, read, cook and grow in their gardens. I'm inspired by your daily walks and would find it interesting to see how things look in your area when the leaves do change.

  3. I can't resist picking up colored leaves. Seems like every time I open a book a leaf falls out. Your posts are always interesting. I love seeing your tea cups, and flowers, your grandchildren, your thrift store finds. I've had several times that I just simply could not come up with anything to post.

  6. As everyone else says I think we all just enjoy reading about other peoples everyday lives.
I've noticed the trees are starting to change. My favourite time of year but someone else in this household HATES winter and gets rather grouchy. Now you know why our retirement plans include moving to your neck of the woods!

    1. The interior of BC has milder temps than you usually have and definitely more sunshine than we have near the coast, but still gets snow..We have snow some years, not very much as a rule. Many people who move here have trouble with the long weeks ( months) of grey skies though.
