Blooms

Some Dandelions are so big and lush they could qualify as flowers ( if they weren't so invasive). This one looks like it has been attached to a small stick. Didn't notice that when I snapped the pic.

Some of my Daffodils were falling over so I cut them and brought them in to enjoy.

Primroses do not like my sunroom on warm days so I line them up on the North side of the house near the front door where they are a lot happier. The forecast is for cooler, cloudy weather so I can bring them back in.

All my Tulips are blooming now....

and this one is my favourite.

This little Tulip is similar to the one I like so much but much smaller. I like the purple one beside it and the Primroses in front . All too soon this stage of the garden will be past. Another 11 months to wait for it to come around once again. That's what gardening is all about. Enjoying each stage.

I hope you are enjoying a lovely weekend.    Thanks for visiting today.  Please leave a comment so I'll know you were here.

  1. Oh, your flowers are beautiful. My tulips are just starting to poke through, it's been so cold and rainy and snowy here. I tried to find daffodils in the grocery stores but couldn't. I needed a little sunshine and your flowers provided that... thank you!

  2. Beautiful blooms--I just love the primrose.
And I'm glad you cut flowers and bring them in. I didn't for years, and wonder why I was saving them?????

  3. Your flowers are all so pretty. It is so true what you say about waiting another 11 months. Our daffodils and tulips have come and gone here, but I do so enjoy extending the season via other people's blogs.
I hope you are feeling better now.

  4. You have so many lovely flowers to enjoy! Love that vase of flowers on your table. The only thing I have blooming in our yard are a few daffodils. I can't figure out why God gave us dandelions as free flowers and yet a lot of people dislike them! Your tulips are gorgeous. You must have a green thumb! Nancy

  9. I have very similar tulips. The weather has been so great, the flowers don't last as long. They get pollinated and their job is done! Our fields are a mass of yellow dandelions! Some farmers don't want them in their fields, but with their long tap roots they are bringing nutrients up that other plants can't reach. I have video of our sheep (when we still had a small flock) of purposely picking out the dandelions to eat in the field.

  10. So nice to see such pretty spring flowers. Just pussy willows and crocus in my yard- we have had a ridiculous amount of snow for April. Thanks for sharing!

  11. I was just noticing how fast the tulips are going this year. All too soon and too soon gone. Sigh.
