Flowers, Tea Cups, and Food

We had a mix of sun and cloud today. It's okay because this way the Tulips will last longer than if we get some hot days. Which we have not had any of so far.  This is the front garden.

There was a Robin taking a vigorous  bath just before I snapped this picture. You can still see the little waves he left behind.

I've put the tea cups back outside. Some in the front yard and these in the back.
The old bed ends stayed outside all winter and seem no worse for wear.

We did the grocery shopping this morning. I was attracted to all the delicious looking vegetables!
The big white one is a Daikon which tastes a lot like a radish.

And in my kitchen I baked cranberry scones.

And that  has been my day so far. Now it's time to think of supper.
Have an enjoyable weekend!!

  1. Do you use the dried cranberries or the regular ones from the produce dept? They look good!

  6. I so love your garden, the bed ends and teacups are a delight and are wonderful additions. Your scones look delicious. Sadly unpacking boxes and trying to get some order has taken priority over baking but I do miss it.

  10. What a lot is happening in your garden! The tulips are so bright. I am intrigued by the teacups in the garden - haven't read your blog long enough to have known about them before. Are they glued to the posts?

  11. Your garden is already enchanting, GM! The tea cups are so sweet. Don't you love the robins? When I go outside and see one in the grass I always say, "Hi, Robby!" They are my favorite bird by far.
