Halloween

As I've mentioned many times I'm just not a fan of Halloween but my eldest daughter with her talent for making things of all kinds has created some remarkable vignettes that I thought I'd post. For those of you who are interested.  The skeletons mostly came from the craft shop but were rigid and upright. She heated them and formed the various poses.

I'll end this post with a cartoon I found on FB.

I'll be back soon and I will resume my very ordinary homey posts.    GM

  2. Your daughter has a true talent! She needs to put up a show in a gallery! Wow! Is that one skeleton smoking? Hey dude, that's how you got to be a skeleton in the first place! And poor old Bones with his broken leg!

  6. That's a cute cartoon. Your daughter is very creative. I'm really not into Halloween decorations other than a cute jack-o-lantern on the porch for when the trick or treaters come by.

  7. I'm with you, I'm just not a fan of Halloween at all. But, I have to admit your daughter has a great talent in making these vignettes.
Your posts aren't ordinary. They are a peek into your fascinating life that God has given you my friend.
    Blessings and hugs,

  9. Thanks for all your kind comments! I’m no fan of Halloween myself; the skeleton hospital was just a fun project 🙂

Nurse Loretta is in love with Doc Bones but he’s oblivious to her deadly charms. The patients are mostly lifers haha and enjoy playing cards and visiting in the common area.

The cafeteria has All You Can’t Eat Fridays.

  13. Your daughter's skeleton vignettes brought a smile to my face today. I especially like the guy with the cast on his leg. I can imagine she had a lot of fun creating them.

  17. What a funny cartoon! Well I must say that your daughter has great creativity. I do enjoy seeing the different decorations of Halloween as long as it's not frightening and gory. My middle daughter does the cutest Halloween decor too and I always enjoy seeing it. But for me, I am a Fall theme kinda gal. Who knows though GM...I might dress up next year for Halloween like a mummy! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  20. Halloween is not something we do - it is a relatively new thing here, and highly commercialized as well. But I did have a cackle at the witches joke :)
