It is a book for all ages but I especially love it as I love gardening and all things plants.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7580372117701042127.post-8978089806073774792015-09-30T18:34:46.781-07:002015-09-30T18:34:46.781-07:00I'll usually make myself read at least the fir...I'll usually make myself read at least the first 30 pages, then if I'm not enjoying it I give it up. My sister has all her books and loves them. She has been trying to get me to read them so I've started on the first one and love it! I envy you sitting on the porch with a book and a cup of tea! I can't imagine reading more than one book at a time. Even if I don't like it that much, I usually manage to plow my way through a book once I've started it. Those kinds of books are probably better for me, then I don't get quite so excited about reading it, so it is easier to put it down and go do some work:)Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08938874724231860923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7580372117701042127.post-90568714144230701662015-09-29T19:34:14.464-07:002015-09-29T19:34:14.464-07:00Those columns that G.T. wrote for Family Circle we...Those columns that G.T. wrote for Family Circle were what first drew me to her writing. I am envious at the thought of sitting on the porch in the afternoon with a cup of tea and a book. Looks like the book title "Another Splash of Gin and Tonic" should be one I need at work right now (forget the gardening part, lol). If I come for tea, could I please have it in a lovely Devonshire Lace cup & saucer from the set you showed in your last post? I am positively green with envy! <br />EllabieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7580372117701042127.post-11564464124097228572015-09-29T12:40:06.763-07:002015-09-29T12:40:06.763-07:00Hi! I need to see if they have it here at the library. If not, they will probably be able to order them from another branch. I remember as a little kid, my mom reading us the Gladys Taber Stillmeadow pieces from the Family Circle magazine. We always looked forward to the ones involving winter.
