I awoke early like I usually do and heard the heavy rain on the skylight. The windchimes were being blown madly by the wind and I knew that we wouldn't be walking today. As it turned out the wind died down a bit and the rain turned into an intermittent shower so we went after all just later than we usually go.
Yesterday was cloudy but hardly any rain fell. GS M did some powerwashing ( his first time).
After he was done the path I put out some of my teacups. I may not put all of them out this year, we'll see how it goes.
We finished the puzzle we were working on and put the board away for a few months. Once there's more to do outside we don't do puzzles. We had done this one before but we don't mind re-doing one that we liked ( with slightly bigger pieces which make it easier to pick them up.)

I was just thinking how I want to finish up the photo album project so I will have my puzzle table back. When it is 100 plus degrees outside, I know I will want to stay inside. (:

ReplyDeleteIt seems that spring has sprung. in your neck of the woods. It feels like summer here right now but supposed to be much cooler by the end of the week. Thankful for a grandson to help you with the power washing. That's a big job and your teacups look great back outside in their places too.

The teacups are lovely, so creative! Larry would break those in a minute though. But what a pretty way to border your walk.
ReplyDeleteI love your teacups along the walkway, what a great idea. I might have to do one and put it in my flowerbed. We've been having overcast days lately, the sun will shine but only briefly.
ReplyDeleteLovely post!
ReplyDeleteWhat fine helpers you always have to make your garden-dreams reality! Your teacups has nobody else, it's a wonder of creativity and a kind of individual tradition!

ReplyDeleteI love seeing your teacups in your garden! Thankful you have family around who look after you and your DH. We are beginning to really need the rain here. We have thunderstorms forecast, but we usually end up with just showers.

ReplyDeleteI love your teacups. That's a nice puzzle.
ReplyDeleteSounds like one of those “maybe not… okay, we’re going anyway” kind of mornings 😄 Glad the weather gave you just enough of a break.
ReplyDeleteAnd powerwashing for the first time... always satisfying to see the difference right away! I hope my hubby will do it in April too.
Your teacups look lovely out there, such a nice touch. HOw did you put them on the sticks?
Hope you have a good weekend!
Those teacups are lovely, how are they secured? It is nice that you and your husband do something together, it is important and when you don't have it, you drift away from each other.
