We had a nice walk at Willband this morning. Some clouds but very mild. Saw the Heron and lots of Swallows.
I have some pictures that I took around the house and I've been meaning to post before I delete from my computer so here goes.....
About how the tea cups out in my garden are affixed.... My DH glues a wooden circle under the saucer, inserts a half-inch dowel which fits into a length of pipe. I tried gluing the cups to the saucers but I prefer being able to take the cups off because they need wiping out from time to time. I'm not explaining it well but maybe a close-up picture will help.
On Pinterest I found many pictures of tea cups in gardens. I may have gotten carried away with pretty images.
IF you're still here Thanks for visiting!!

I absolutely love all these beautiful and heartwarming photos!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I don't think I could do that with mine, though. I like them too much and I know they would get broken. People are certainly creative-- lots of great ideas!
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice, that your DH ad you make teamwork with the teacups in your garden. I did not know, that also other people make such funny installatios in their gardens. But for me yours are most lovely!
ReplyDeleteLots of super cute pictures 🥰😍☺️
ReplyDeleteLove all the pictures!!
ReplyDeleteThe second picture is so pretty. The tulips really stand out among the green.
Love all your pictures today....a lot of cute ideas there!
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty teacups! I love the blue one with the floral arrangement. Have a good Sunday!
ReplyDeleteIt’s so fun to see your pretty linens, drawings and tea cups. The ferns look great. Enjoy your walk and your garden with the nice weather. Happy day, Virginia
ReplyDeleteThose teacup things are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou obviously have a lot of fun with your teacups!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing your picture. Such fun ideas for using teacups too. I used to have a lot of them when we lived in the house but gave most away.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
What a great post ... I enjoyed seeing all of your photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I like your tea cup idea!!!
ReplyDeleteFun pictures. As you know, I do glass flowers rather than teacups. Teacups definitely are your thing. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I love seeing your teacups and saucers displayed. Also the teapots and cups for birdhouses. I smile every time I see them.
ReplyDeleteThe butter yellow pots are so lovely. I do love that shade of yellow. And the clock on your buffet is to die for! So elegant! Thank you for sharing how your teacups are attached to add beauty to your garden. The images from the internet are so cute...I especially like the one that is attached to what looks like part of a birdhouse and has the teapot tilted to "pour" into the cup. That's adorable!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how you put the tea cups together. I enjoy seeing your photos of them in your garden.
ReplyDeleteIt hadn't occurred to me to use the tea cups that way. Try to use them daily, enjoy them since you are the only one who appreciates them.
