It's a damp day. We were fortunate to walk without getting wet but the rain is definitely coming. Also a power outage is going to happen at some point so I'll blog then shut down my computer. ( The outage is happening so a small upgrade can be done on our street).
Since I don't have much to blog about I thought I'd feature my small set of my Royal Albert Memory Lane pattern china.
Some more on the tea theme :)
I hope your day is going well. Thanks for taking the time to drop by.

I hope the outage will be short! I absolutely love tea, and this post really speaks to me...well, I love all your posts, I want to make this clear. :) My favourite tea is Earl Grey, but tea is a comfort for me. In fact, I am about to make a cup of Earl Grey tea right now! Your tea set is gorgeous! Admittedly, even though I love tea, I don't have any tea sets (cups and saucers), I use mugs. However, I do have two teapots. They are small, enough for two cups. One is white and the other is clear glass. :)
ReplyDeleteThe illustrations you are sharing are lovely and heartwarming. Thank you so much for your posts, dear friend!
Happy Sunday! I enjoyed seeing all of your tea themed photos. I especially loved your beautiful tea set. I don't drink much hot tea in the warm months but there is definitely a nip in the air now so I'll be getting out my cups and tea bags again. :-)

At least you know about the outage so you can plan. That's my favorite pattern. :)
ReplyDeleteI love tea always and in every time of the year. Now in autumn special! We have a nearly terrible weather: Strong rain-spots and strong wind - - storm - - and it feels very uncomfortable. The result is after being outdoor a good tea-hour!! Your teacups and sets tell about the value of tea and tea-hour. I always l like to hear about the weather-situation in your region.
ReplyDeleteYour tea set is beautiful, what a treat to have cuppa with those lovely pieces! You always post the most delightful illustrations, perfect for sharing … not just the graphics but the verses are just charming and meaningful. Hope the outage is short and your day, happy.

Beautiful tea set. Today we have also rain and wind last week we had a short power cut but with the storm many people lost power for days. I hope you’ll have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteYour tea set is lovely I have so many tea cups and tea pots I loved collecting them. Now my grand has taken a few.

Now I am wanting tea!
ReplyDeleteWe had an outage like that last week. Nice that they do these upgrades.
I love the pattern on your Royal Albert tea set. Such a delicate and pretty color.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely post! I didn't realize that you had a set of the Memory Lane as well as the Old Country Roses. Both Mom's faves.
