Finally we have a day with no rain ( so far). I shouldn't complain because for us it's a small irritation but to many especially out of town there is flooding again. We didn't even try to walk at Willband. No doubt the paths are under water again. So we walked at Fish Trap Creek where there was evidence of water having covered the paths but now had receded.
The forecast for today is for some clouds and a high of 12C. I've been waiting for a day when I could tackle my pots of mint. They are very much in need of dumping out then cutting the plant in 3 or 4 pieces one of which I'll replant and find good homes for the rest. There are always people who will gladly take free plants. Even Mint.
All done. I ended up having one more pot of mint than I started out with. I now need to wash the area and put away the wheelbarrow then I'm done!!
I hope you're having a pleasant weekend. Thanks for taking time to come and visit. GM

I love mint! Glad you got yours divided. Today is our last day of nice weather....60 degrees....then back into the cold for a while. We have lots of huge snow piles that still need to melt! diane in northern wis
ReplyDeleteI've been moving mint too! Cant do without it in a garden.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a day that you could tackle those mint pots.
ReplyDeleteI know very little about plants 🪴 and flowers 💐 but I do know that I love ❤️ mint. Sometimes I have a cup of mint tea.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing.
We are loving the dry weather, We toured a garden this morning with our garden club, and then worked outside in the yard this afternoon. Yay!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I love mint tea! It's not always easy to have rain. I used to live out near to where you live in Langley/ fort Langley/ Walnut Grove. Depending on the year and the first month and a half I was there. I came in a January. It rained everyday. That was not easy! God be with you and bring some sunshine!!
ReplyDeleteIt is So nice to see green grass. We just had 25 + inches if snow here in Wisconsin. It will be quite sometime time before we see green grass again. Thank you for the photos.
ReplyDeleteGood work! I love your love for plants! Hope, that the nerverending rain in your region will stop for a while.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a solar powered woman!

It’s so nice to get a walk in for the day! Oh, mint…doesn’t everyone love it? That was a big job, well done. I definitely am solar powered, thanks for the visit, happy day. Best, Virginia
ReplyDeleteYes Mint is so easy to grow and spread:)
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're keeping your mint in pots!
ReplyDeleteSorry to read about the flooding.
ReplyDeleteJob well done with the mint pots :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I love mint! I look forward to growing mint every spring & summer. I add it to my lemon/cucumber water...so good!
ReplyDeleteI admire your perseverance with the repotting of the mint! It does quickly take over when planted in a bed, but we love it and my husband is the one who takes care of it. Good job, You!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to working with the soil & plants. Once this hopefully last cold spell passes.
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to have a good day to do these garden chores!
ReplyDeleteI like that meme! I'm definitely a solar powered woman as I feel energized by the sun! Our garden is a soggy mess but I'm eager to get out there and do a few things. Good job on dividing your mint plant.
ReplyDeleteHope your weather settles so that you can walk in the park. Happy Spring!
