A lovely sunny Monday, the last one in this month of sunshine filled days. I was out doing some watering of my flowers earlier and noticed that one of my Morning Glories is very different. While all the rest are purple this one flower is white with purple streaks!
I baked a couple of flans for the weekend using some of the strawberries that were given to us.
They were much appreciated by family that came by.
Back to my laundry. Have a wonderful day!!
Thanks for coming by.
The white morning glory is pretty, wonder if there will be more? The flan looks yummy, sure would be good with a cup of coffee. Have a good day.☺♥
ReplyDeleteThose flans look so good.
ReplyDeleteMy laundry is getting done too. I'm resting for a few minutes while Tom picked the raspberries, then I'll have to get to work again taking care of them. We'll see if there are just enough to eat or some to freeze too. Sugared raspberries over vanilla ice cream, with a drizzle of chocolate sauce - wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love that morning glory sport.
Both the flowers 💐 and the flan are lovely.
ReplyDeleteEven though the flower is a little unusual, it really is beautiful! I love finding unique flowers like that within my own garden. Thank you so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi GM! We had a lovely time up in Washington but it WAS sweaty! I love sweater weather, too. Your flans are gorgeous. Wow! That IS an interesting morning glory!
ReplyDeleteI like your morning glories! I have a few, but we have a wild version here that can make a mess of things.
ReplyDeleteI have had several colors on just one plant of Morning Glory. It is so lovely how they do that I think! Please give flan recipe if you share recipes that is...😊 A delicious summer dessert.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get my washer back in action so I can catch up on my laundry! Your cakes look so pretty. (:
ReplyDeleteSeedling variation is fun to see:)

ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty blossom. Love purple for sure. I'm with you on the last meme. I would much rather have cooler weather.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I love Morning Glories and oh boy, those flans look delish!
ReplyDeleteI'm in agreement with the sweater weather poster!
ReplyDeleteThis blossom remembers me, that sometimes white rabbits with red eyes come from a brown rabbitmother - or cat - :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE strawberrycake! Festival! 💚
Your morning glories are pretty. The flan looks delicious!

Love the white Morning Glory with the purple streaks! So unique! And your flans look amazing! Would you believe that that is something that I've never even tried to make? My daughter does a beautiful job with hers though after spending many years in Mexico City as a missionary.
