Happy Monday!! What's happening at your house today? Here the weather has changed and showers are expected for today and tomorrow. Unfortunately my Peony is in full bloom and will no doubt bend low when it gets wet. It can't be helped. I did bring some flowers in and they look ( and smell) heavenly.
Other than the usual laundry I plan on doing some scrapbooking today after getting some pictures developed at Walmart ( where I saw dark purple Gladiola bulbs marked down even more and was forced to buy them). Youngest came to drag a very heavy ceramic pot out of the wild area and into a more prominent (sunny) spot. I took out the weedy plants and planted those glads in there. Now I really don't have any more room. Well, I do have 2 containers that are earmarked for Snapdragons and also one for Petunias. Those I have yet to buy. Maybe later this week.
What those Glads will hopefully look like in a couple of months. Thanks for coming by!!

What an amazinf colour!
ReplyDeleteThe excitement of gardening! 🥰
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing those Glads in a couple of months, they're going to be beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful color of gladiolus! I have never grown them...
ReplyDeleteOh, I can see why you had to buy them! We are getting so much rain this spring - I know I shouldn't complain because for years we had a drought that was hard to come out of. But I could really use some SUN.
ReplyDeleteLovely colors!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see you gladiolas. I love those flowers but have never grown them.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful color.
ReplyDeleteA dreary day here, cloudy with rain on the way.
The purple is gorgeous. We’re about halfway across South Dakota right now. A great overnight at a campground last night.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
The color of that Glad is gorgeous! Mine are pink and were planted on this farm many years ago, not by me. I hope you will share photos when they bloom.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful day today. Your gardens must be amazing!

I know they do not bloom for long but I do like peonies.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Those glads will be beautiful, just like the picture, because you have a green thumb.
ReplyDeleteThat purple is stunning. Here today ... finished the laundry up before coming outside with a cuppa to read a few blogs. Then back inside for my DIY repairs and finish up the tool closet.
