It's a wet morning here. Finally we're getting much needed rain. The house feels chilly and I'm thinking that some baking would warm it up. Not much to blog about so I thought I'd post some random pictures.
A clematis growing near the mailbox by the street.
Our row of Rugosa roses from the next door neighbour's side.
The people across the street must love their kitty a lot. They just built this outdoor pen for her. The window behind has a small window that opens to allow the cat to come and go ( although I notice that she mostly comes out when they're outside. Otherwise she's content to stay in and look out that big window.
I saw these pretty bags on Pinterest. Are they not sweet?
Thanks for visiting

I love the bags! It is very cold here and I have the heating on. On Thursday they will install the wood stove in the fireplace but on that day it will be hot! 😂
ReplyDeleteOh that second handbag is gorgeous - makes me think that I should recycle my denim shirt! The "catio" (outdoor space for cats) has become quite common here too. Your flowering yard is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteEllabie
Beautiful photos, and the bags are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteOur borrowed cat has a similar set up, but he is an outdoor cat so no window into the house.
ReplyDeleteI do like your kitty teapot :)
ReplyDeleteThe weekend is almost here, I wish you a happy one.
All the best Jan
Those are really cute bags and I love the "catio". I've known a few people that have them for their cats. We've had such lovely weather but it was in the 90'sF today and we have severe thunderstorm warnings until 1:00 am tomorrow. More predicted for the weekend too. Fun times in tornado alley. Not!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
Cute bags:) Some people are very talented. Your roses look really good!
ReplyDeleteCute bags for spring. I love the teapot idea. We have been rainy and cold too
ReplyDeleteCathy
It's definitely chilly! And a bit wet, but the rain is needed, so I won't complain about that! Cute bags.
ReplyDeleteWonderful roses.
ReplyDeleteWe have rain here too these days but oh well,
that's how spring is!!
Have a beautiful day Granny Marigold💜!
Darling bags, people are so creative and fun. Beautiful roses and I love the tea pot, makes me smile. Happy weekend, Virginia
ReplyDeleteI love the roses. I am sure you and the plants are enjoying the rainy day. We are so dry here, but hoping to get rain early this coming week.
ReplyDeleteThere are some amazing outdoor runs for cats on ytube, some are so ingenious.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the flower pictures
your garden is pretty. rain here too. Fills up the rain barrel.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty bags!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love those bags!!! Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is thinking about doing the same for her cat. She calls it a cat condo :)
ReplyDeleteMy sister just built something similar and calls it a "catio". (:
ReplyDeleteIt's a warm morning here; finally spring has arrived.
ReplyDeleteGezellig blog post (gezellig = cozy). I love to see the bags but most of al your other photos from you neighbourhood. That is so nice.
ReplyDeleteI love the color of your clematis. It is looking very healthy. Our neighbor also built one of those outdoor cages for their cat. The teapot is a fun piece for the garden.
ReplyDeleteYour roses are a sight! I bet the neighbors enjoy them as much as you do.
ReplyDeleteBaking something on chilly rainy days is always a comfort! The clematis is lovely! Does that come back by itself each year? Such good and wise neighbors to take such good care of their cat that way! Have a pleasant week ahead!
ReplyDeleteHello again, I just saw your question about whether my nasturtiums had bloomed? They have gotten full and pretty, but no blooms. I have them in containers......so I am not sure if that is why they have not yet bloomed. The Texas heat has gotten into the 100s and I let them have morning sun but keep them out of the intense sun during the afternoon.....hopefully they might bloom. I will let you know
ReplyDeleteNothing is prettier than a picket fence line with roses ♥️ those bags are adorable.
ReplyDeleteHello GM. I love seeing the kitty teapot in your garden again! SO sweet. I'm sorry that I've not been around much. We had our son and youngest granddaughter from Maine here with us from the 19th-26th and I've not done much blog reading at all during that time. They've gone home now and we have many fond memories of their time here.
ReplyDeleteI love to read when folks go the extra mile for their pets. Cute bags. Fun to see what others are making.
