Plant Shopping

Earlier in the week we went to the garden centre.   I found a few plants that I wanted, mainly Pansies which I transplanted into terra cotta pots and put out on plant stands since I don't have any empty spaces in my flower beds.  They still had mini Daffodils so I got 3 pots which I'll enjoy on the porch then plant them out where hopefully they will bloom next year.

There's another plant stand in front of my garden shed.

That's mainly what I've been up to. Our sunny weather seems to have moved on and we have showers almost every day.  It's chilly too. Perfect weather for some baking 💗

Thanks for coming by

  1. You are so good with plants! And yes, baking is great on a chilly day! I absolutely love the illustration with the cat at the end of your post as well. Very true! Thank you so much for sharing, I really enjoy your posts!

  3. Your potted plants look ever so cheery but isn't it alot of work to go water them all? I have cut back drastically on pots around the yard because of the daily watering needed but I will miss the color they provide. Here it is frightfully cold after a record breaking heatwave! Enjoy your weekend.

  15. It's just gotten chilly here too. Your flowers in the pots look beautiful... you did a great job.
Lots of love to you and happy baking! I'm not baking this week. There's a festival in our little town, and cake and coffee every day right on the market square, along with lots of music and other delicacies.
It's a lovely time for me.

  16. I love your pretty plant stands. I'm going to look into that for my garden. Next month I'm hoping to do some plant shopping, I've mostly been weeding and tidying in the garden. Although I did plant some lavender for the bees.

  17. I envy you that garden shed!
Those sweet-faced pansies...perfect in terracotta pots.
Looking forward to seeing what you baked! I made a cake from a mix yesterday, just to have something quick.

  18. Barb has the itch to do some gardening, but it has been a very cold spring here as well. 30's in the mornings and many days not getting out of the 50's. Hopefully that changes soon!

  19. Your pansies look so cheery in the clay pots. Here we will soon be replacing our pansies with summer annuals. The heat does them in. So far, though, our spring has been much cooler than usual so I will continue to enjoy them for awhile. Love to see your garden shed all spiffed up for the season.
