Not much to blog about today so I thought I'd see what pictures I might have that I (hopefully) haven't posted......
I sowed my pole beans in peat pots. 3 different kinds which I hope to keep track of, seeing which ones produce best. The first and second pictures were just 2 days apart. When beans start growing they really grow.
The pink Spring Clematis that I believe is C. Montana. It did poorly last year but is doing better now.
Lilacs for the table.
Kitty's "friend" Harry. He comes around almost every day but she isn't very friendly towards him.
A row of Hostas behind the house.
Pots of Hyacinths by the library.
That's all I have today. I hope your day is a good one. Thanks for visiting.
You have some lovely things growing. My montana has to be constantly cut back otherwise I think it would overwhelm everything!
ReplyDeleteAlways a pleasure to see flowers, and plants in progress! The lilacs are really nice. I struggle just to keep my one bush alive.
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see your photos. Harry is adorable and the lilacs are beautiful! I love lilacs!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking us along beautiful

It's certainly blooming and growing time. Our lilacs are done already - too fast. We have been moving tender plants out of the greenhouse. Lots of cleaning up involved. It's an exciting time for gardening.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the walk Granny Marigold!
ReplyDeleteI really liked the hyacinths in bloom.
It's so creative to be involved in gardening!!
That clematis!! What a joy it is when all these flowers come on in the spring <3
ReplyDeleteThose beans are enthusiastic! That's a handy little cart they are in
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty Lilacs I can almost smell them!
ReplyDeleteI love the little wagon you use for sowing. All of the plants looks nice. Will you keep the hostas in pots, or put them in the ground?
ReplyDeleteRemember that when sowing you have to know which moon you are on. In this way we will obtain excellent results.
ReplyDeleteNice thing about beans, they grow fast. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteThat clematis is gorgeous 😍 I have a small one I planted last year with just a few blooms.
ReplyDeleteflowers really are so very beautiful and yours and your library's certainly are!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful we are very far behind you but I am waiting patiently.

GM - I just read your comment on my blog about my floating solar fountain. I have three of them currently. I have used this type of fountain for years and only had trouble with one of them. They typically last for a couple of years, sometimes more.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful the clematis looks.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Beautiful flowers and hosta's too! Our lilacs are just now beginning to bloom and I love the aroma.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and love,
Betsy
Good success with the beans! Harry is so sweet, but Kitty knows, that she is a famous Lady and that she has the saying in her garden . Nice flowers, the Clematis is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWow, you have been busy! I bet you cannot wait for the rewards of your efforts.
