Summer Solstice

Today I'm taking you on a walk around other people's gardens. Happy first day of Summer!

As you can see I don't have much to post about once again. It's a very chilly first day of summer here.
A little gardening will be done. A load of laundry will get done as well.  Eldest daughter is coming for a visit.  I have 2 books at the library to pick up, books I recently requested. All in all a quiet day.

Thanks for visiting today.    GM

  1. Quiet days are worth mentioning too. I find that all days end way too quickly! Enjoy your visit with eldest daughter.

  4. It's super hot here today. Over 100 with 103F predicted for tomorrow. I really dislike it this hot and humid.
    The garden photos are beautiful.
    Blessings and hugs,

  5. I am happy to be doing some gardening today, as it seems nice to be outside in the sunshine on the solstice. My plums that I always prune at about this time got pruned a couple of days early, so that's good. And I'm also doing some laundry -- maybe a LOT of laundry, as I have been putting it off. We are together in homemaker community, GM!

  6. Yes, it's chilly for this last day of spring, and beginning of summer. We hope to have some rain later in the day. We need it!

  7. I always enjoy seeing what others are doing in their gardens. There is so much that needs doing in mine because of all the recent rains...but I am not complaining. I would rather weed than water.
