Books

Laundry is washed, dried and folded ( a few things to iron later). Now it's time to read. I finished my Christmas Miss Read book ( enjoyable as I think they all are) and now I'll move on to my library books. Three old favourites that I'm going to reread.

I have an apple crisp ready to go into the oven later.  While the oven is on I'll mix up some cheese biscuits ( cheese scones to some).

I hope the script is easier to read today. Please let me know if it isn't.

 Thanks for visiting.

  11. You have a nice selection of books to ready. My book club meets this Thursday and I haven't even read the book yet! YIKES! I did download the audio book so I hope to have it done before Thursday at 6 pm. The apple crisp sounds delish!

  13. I'm going to see if I can find those books at the library. Great memes too. May I come visit and have some warm apple crisp with vanilla ice cream? :-) Wouldn't that be lovely?

  14. Same to you, Granny. I have saved many of the Miss
Read books that I will read again some day. I love apple crisp...wish I was at your house. It will smell so good in the oven. Take good care and stay warm. We will too.

  16. I often think that if I should lose the capacity to read, my life would be much diminished!
