Haircut

I have worn my hair long and simply pulled back in a low ponytail for ever so long and was ready for a change. Being a person who makes up her mind then wants it done ASAP I asked my DIL if she'd cut them for me. I knew she'd be intimidated so I took my craft scissors and cut a long bit off to show her how short /long I wanted it. She proceeded to cut and in an effort to get the two sides the same my hair ended up a tad shorter than I had envisioned. Poor her. She kept saying she was sorry but yet another bit had to come off to equalize the sides. I found it quite amusing and made up my mind that short hair for summer is a great idea.  Incidentally this is exactly how I wore my hair in elementary school except I had barrettes to keep it back.  Hmmm. I wonder how I'd look wearing barrettes.  ( just kidding).

    Hey, try it with barrettes! I wear them because I can't stand any hair in my face. I think I'm a little obsessive compulsive about that. I'd love to take about 8 inches off of my hair. I'm trying to talk my daughter into doing it. Why spend good money on something so simple? Enjoy your short do!

    I really like your new look. Should be super comfy for the summer. Must feel so different though and much lighter too. y.s
