My DH and our youngest son went to a car show today. If you don't care for old cars you'll be forgiven if you leave now.
Most of them I know nothing about so can't comment except for this first one where the owner fixed up the back of an old bread delivery truck. Those big blue things on the doors are speakers And, yes, that is a TV on the side. What imagination... and a lot of work!!
Thanks for visiting,
Granny Marigold
I called my husband to come and take a look, we would have loved to go to that show. Beautiful cars.
ReplyDeleteHi Granny
ReplyDeleteI always try to plan in visits to car museums, etc when hubby and I are on the road, and I've grown to appreciate old cars. They really were built "in the day" and wow-there are some real beauties too.
I agree , that bread truck is awesome and must have required a LOT of work (and money!!)
Have a good week
I like cars, but not enough to go to shows (LOL!) I think it is fascinating that people make campers and vans so cozy, but I don't like traffic at all and have no desire to be out on the open road. I think you are a house mouse like me, GM.
ReplyDeleteSo very true!!
DeleteWell I see two or three that I may have ridden in before! (is ridden the correct word)? :) I can't believe that I have missed your last four posts, and your blog is one of my favorites! I'm sorry. I did enjoy catching up though and will try to keep up. Having Poppy home more, since he has retired and just working part-time has really changed things.
ReplyDeleteI can't get excited about old cars but I have a friend whose husband collected antique cars and it was fun to see those. Nancy
ReplyDeleteOld cars are cool... as my hubby says, "They don't make 'em like that anymore!"
ReplyDeleteThe old cars are interesting, and that first one is very cool! But, they are not really my thing. Although I am willing to tag along to an old car show if someone else is going.
