It may be just a bit early to be thinking of Christmas and decorating our tables but I came upon these pretty tablecloths while browsing Pinterest once again. They're all so pretty but the first one is my favourite. Do you have a preference?

I've been having problems with my camera and for the time being I hope to find pictures that others have taken, as these were, by a fellow Willband walker who had the good fortune to see an Eagle grabbing a Canada Goose right out of the water and taking it over to a nearby tree to eat it. It actually looks like the Eagle just caught the goose with one of its talons. I've enlarged the pictures to make that more clear.
That's it for today. I hope your week is off to a good start.
Thanks for taking time to visit.

I would definitely go for the third Christmas tablecloth you have pictured! It reminds me of some of the beautiful tablecloths I brought home from Mexico City when I visited our daughter there years ago. They no longer work with my table.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, dear friend! I love the tablecloths! The Canada goose and reflections are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe first tablecloth is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week.
All the best Jan
The first one reminds me of my Grandma's table.
ReplyDeleteI like tablecloth # 3. I think about dragging some of my decorations out but haven't yet. Maybe soon.
ReplyDeleteI like the first one best too. I'm so sad for that poor goose :(
ReplyDeleteI'm liking the first table cloth best too. Very festive. I don't even have a camera. Only my cell phone.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to start early with Christmas-decoration. Because the time till Christmas is so very short! I love the first and the second decoration. The photos with the swans are stunning!
ReplyDeleteEvery day I say I will buy a new tablecloth for Thanksgiving or Christmas, then I don't. I like all of these. (:
ReplyDeleteThat goose was a pretty heavy lift for that eagle.
ReplyDeleteewww...canada geese are big....I know it's nature but I always get upset when I see something like this.
ReplyDeleteThe second tablecloth is the one that caught my eye! Goodness me, I can hardly believe the strength of the eagle to pluck the goose right out of the water! Fantastic photo shot, that's for sure!

I really like the snowman tablecloth. I do love snowmen and decorating a lot with them for the winter. I feel bad for the goose but I do know that it's the circle of life.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
The first is my favourite - the table will be covered in plates/food so the border pattern detail is what you will see - very festive and pretty. Betty
ReplyDeleteThe first tablecloth is my favorite..I love the scalloped edge! Have a most delightful day, xox, Virginia
ReplyDeleteThe third table cloth for me. What an extraordinary picture.
ReplyDeleteThe third tablecloth is my favourite. What amazing shots of the birds.
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty tablecloths, but i prefer a plain red or green one myself, so it doesnt clash with whatever napkins ir dishes I use. Although these days I don't really set a Christmas dinner table, I just do it buffet or charcuterie style. That way family can eat as they arrive. We don't have many, just my one son and his daughters usually. The others have other family obligations or just too far away.
ReplyDeleteAll three tablecloths are festive but I like the Santa one and the Snowmen best. The eagle photos are stunning! Poor goose :( Such is the circle of life.
ReplyDeleteI like the first table cloth the best too, that red is beautiful! I can't wait to get my tablecloth out! I am going to start the Friday after Thanksgivnig God willing!
ReplyDeleteDramatic pictures of the Eagle!
ReplyDeleteI loved the tablecloth number two, with the snowmen! The bird photos are stunning
ReplyDeletePoor goose!
ReplyDeleteI like the first one best. I ‘ll slowly start my Christmas decoration
Wonderful captures of the birds! I like tablecloth #2 best.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're having problems with your camera. What sort of problems? I recently had the shutter count die on mine. We think. We'll know for sure later.
ReplyDeleteWe do Christmas right after Halloween at our house. Both trees go up, lights and all. I love to have a good solid two months of Christmas decorations to enjoy.
Tabletop number two for me because I adore snowmen.
Cheers, Ivy.
