When I work in the kitchen Miss Kitty sits on the little roof outside and watches me. From time to time she gently pats the window as if to say Hi. ( or she may just be hoping for a treat).
sorry for the rather dark photo
We had this Impossible Quiche for our supper recently.
And here's a picture from a number of years ago when we still had our camperized van. We were up in ranch country and finding roads that wandered through the countryside when we came upon this cattle drive. Neither the cowboys nor the cows paid the slightest attention to us as we slowly followed them along. Something we found interesting was when a very small calf would have its feet tied together and be left beside the road. We later found out that any calf that couldn't keep up with the herd was "immobilized" and later picked up by someone whose job it was to bring them along to the final area where they would join their mothers.
I've been meaning to answer some questions left in the comments. Sorry I wasn't more prompt.
Linda ( Linda's Relaxing Lair) : About the puzzle board we use...it's a homemade one made from a scrap of wood that DH had in his shop. It's about 3 feet square and has a raised edge all around.
Jeanna: The flowers on the table came from one of my sons who doesn't wait for a special occasion to indulge my love of flowers.
Virginia: . Thank you for your lovely comments. Sure wish you had a blog that I could visit.
