Mainly about Flowers

Thank you for all the Thanksgiving wishes.  Now we're on to birthdays here with Youngest son's on the 17th and Eldest daughter on the 18th. They are exactly 12 years apart. In between those two are their three siblings. Those were busy years.

It was very chilly when we walked this morning. Only 1C  with a bit of frost on the truck windshield. The sky is totally clear and it 's going to be lovely outside by afternoon.

Years ago I put in some Autumn Crocus bulbs which never really did much. A few still come up every year. Usually they are flattened by rain but this year they've been able to hold themselves up.

Nasturtiums are still blooming unaffected by drought or cold temperatures.

This pink rose...Bonita if I remember correctly...has been blooming since late Spring.

Not content with outdoor blooms I treated myself to a lovely Gloxinia .  I hope I can keep it alive since Gloxinias are known to be fussy. I love the frilly purple blooms.

Also added this beauty whose name eludes me right now. These 2 bring the number of my houseplants to 39. I should have found one more for a nice even 40. There is no more room for pots on any surface in the sun room ☀️☀️☀️.

Have you found that there are more cob webs in corners no in Fall?

 Thanks for visiting
