On Saturday we had so much rain that when we went walking at Willband on Sunday the water level was really high. At some places the path was under water. Nevertheless we had a lovely walk.
By walking close to the trees on the left we got by this puddle.
Seven swans flew low over our heads. ( This is a picture from the internet but looks exactly like our swans. *smile*)
Sunday usually means a game of Dominoes but we changed things a bit and played Scrabble. That was fun too.
Thanks for visiting

We used to play Scrabble! It's such a good game.
ReplyDelete'Said no-one ever'!!!! Absolutely!
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how pretty the swans were when they took flight. WoW ! I love to play scrabble, my grandson Blake and I used to play but he's grown now and busy working. I miss those days. Happy Monday!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely place to take a walk. My mom and I play a lot of Yahtzee and Dominoes. We haven't played Scrabble in a while.
ReplyDeletePretty trail! The swans especially, what a sight to see.
ReplyDeleteI love Scrabble, but never get to play since Larry is sooooo dyslexic.
I love your autumn header, my friend. Your pictures from your walk are so pretty...they look peaceful and calm.
ReplyDeleteSeven swans a' ...not swimming. :-)
ReplyDeleteI see, that there was a lot of rain! Thanks goodness it stopped and you could make a fine walk and look at the water-situation relaxed.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen swans flying! We play scrabble once in a while.

I'm a big scrabble fan. Playing Word on line is similiar and I do that, too.
