Did you know that one of the earliest calendars came from Egypt? It had 12 months of 30 days . Each month had 3 weeks, and each week had 10 days. This has absolutely nothing to do with the time change.
Just another bit of trivia.
Thanks for coming by

Thank you so much for the reminder...and the smile your first illustration gave me!
ReplyDeleteWe have never forgotten but Dennis had just gone to bed to ready a little while ago and I called out to him that we forgot the clocks. We both scurried around setting them back an hour. How can we have so many clocks in a 3 bedroom condo?! Wish we could just leave it in summertime mode. I do like it later in the day. I got used to the light later in the day when we lived in Spokane for 30 years.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,

Ha! I loved that bit o' trivia. I enjoyed an extra hour to bake a cake for my co-workers. (: And I slept like a rock!
ReplyDeleteIt's only 7:30 here and the sky is bright with clouds and blue. I like the lighter mornings and don't mind the darker evenings. It's just good to wake up to light.
ReplyDeleteInteresting trivia and great images make for a fun post. Enjoy your day, Virginia
