Daffodils and Carnations

 

I have a few Daffodils blooming in my garden but not enough to fill a vase so we went to the plant shop where I got a couple of bunches.   While I was there I saw that 4" pots of Carnations were on sale so I got  4 or maybe 5 pots. I am very fond of the pink ones so that's what I chose. In the picture (below) they look washed out but they are really a nice pink.

 

Our weather continues to be wet. We walked in the rain this morning. By afternoon the sun came out and for a while it was quite pleasant out. Then it got very windy. 

 

Eldest made  an Easter 'card' for us. It's quite large so I put it on the fridge door. Those "eggs" in the basket are stuck on securely. They survived gentle tugging by a sweet little 5 year old today.
