This and That

Today's post is more a photo dump than a regular post.  First off is a bouquet of flowers sitting outside the front door waiting for me to discover them.💖

My breadmaker makes just enough dough so I can make a loaf of bread and 6 cheese buns.

I took down and cleaned all my "made in Japan" teacups.

I took this picture of the Scrabble board after Youngest Son won after using all 7 of his tiles more than once in a single game ( thus getting 50 pts bonus each time).

That's all for today.  I'll be back on Thursday.  Thanks for dropping by.

  1. He must be a wizard at Scrabble! I love to play, but my husband Wallis very dyslexic, so it's not possible unless I find someone else willing to play. Rarely happens.
The flowers are lovely, and so is the bread!

  3. Beautiful flowers. The bread looks so good, especially the cheese buns. That is amazing your son used all seven tiles TWICE in one game. He must be a smarty pants LOL.

  8. I used to play scrabble with my mom. That is very rare to use all 7 2x in one game.

  9. He is a Scrabble Master!
I love to see photos of homemade bread. I am thinking of making a loaf myself this week to give to friends who just became neighbors.

  10. WoW on youngest son and his scrabble word. That's impressive. When my grandson was coming to our house after school we would play scrabble. He was only in the fifth grade at that time and loved to play. Hope your day is happy and blessed.

  14. Thank you for sharing these little pieces of your days. I’m sorry about your Annabelle hydrangeas and lavender — rain can be so rough on heavy flowers. But the dominoes, laughter, peaches, flowers by the door, fresh bread, teacups, and Scrabble all sound so warm and homey.

I always enjoy these glimpses into ordinary days. They are often the sweetest ones.
