I almost didn't post that picture ( avocado/orange/banana). I thought it was too silly but I'm happy to know you all have strange senses of humour similar to mine.
When you enter our house there's a little 'foyer' and straight ahead is the door to our son's family's home. If you turn left instead then you come into our part of the house. In that little area is a sturdy wooden bench where things get left to be picked up. Like mail or packages that were delivered.
The day I left the "face" I had picked up a bag of avocados marked down because they needed to be used soon. The logical thing to do was to leave a couple on that bench for son#2. Then, of course, I had the idea of the face.
A cross stitch that I made many years ago. It hangs on the other wall.
It's been raining off and on all day. For the sake of all the little people who will be out trick-or-treating tomorrow, I hope it clears up.
