This and That

Thanksgiving was a lovely time with family, food, and fun .Thank you for all your good wishes.

Now life goes back to normal again.

We got the puzzle board out and did the first puzzle of the season. We had done it before and I had written on the box that 3 pieces were missing.  We enjoyed doing it anyway.

YS came by and hung my bamboo wind chime right outside the little half-bath window

It had been a while since I had done much walking but we drove to Willband Creek and I managed reasonably well. 2000 steps.   It's such a lovely place to walk.

In the kitchen there is a large container of grape tomatoes that I'm going to roast for supper and while the oven is hot I'll do more sweet potatoes.  DH will probably put some chicken in the air fryer for himself. He has a variety of meats in individual portions in the freezer and I'm thankful that he takes care of that part of his meal.

That's about all that I have to write about today.  Thanks for coming by.

  3. Hi Marigold, I am a new follower, such a beautiful post today! I was confused for a moment and had to check the date when you said it was Thanksgiving, as I live in the United States and ours isn't until November. I felt like I lost a whole month there! :) I am 63 years old and I live in a rural area of Georgia, with my husband and my mother in law. I just started up my blog again after being away for awhile. I like to write about my craft projects, recipes and share stories and encouraging quotations and poetry. I hope you have a lovely day ahead.

  8. Going out for a walk makes all the difference... I managed a very short walk along our road today and saw plenty of interest in the neighbour's front gardens... roses, cosmos... all flowering bravely

  11. I take it that you don't eat meat? I eat a lot less meat than I used to but I still cook it.
I am still having issues with this head/sinus cold or bug or whatever it is, and today my balance is precarious, so I'm not out walking like I want to be.
