Another mild Autumn morning. On my walk I kept seeing different kinds of mushrooms. I wonder if mushrooms are more commonly found in Fall. They sure seem to be everywhere.
In the next two pics there are geese taking off from the lake but in the first one they are hardly visible against the dark trees.
I had to include a photo of the clouds in the Eastern sky.
Happy Wednesday!! Thanks for coming by.
Granny M.
I've been seeing more mushrooms lately too. Not as pretty as yours though. You have a very pretty place to walk.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky picture! Are any of those mushrooms the kind you eat? How many miles do you walk? We drive through Brown County State Park today and took a very small hike?walk. Beautiful park!!! Nancy
ReplyDeleteMy walk isn't all that long... between 2 and 3 miles, depending on how I feel on any given day. As for the mushrooms, I am not brave enough to try any wild ones even if I find them in a book that assures me that it is edible.
DeleteBeautiful photos! What interesting mushrooms. Looks like you are cloudy today just like we are.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely looking like fall in your land, GM!
ReplyDeletePretty mushrooms, I wonder if any are okay to eat? I like seeing all the different forms:)
ReplyDeleteI really like that second to last shot!
ReplyDeleteQuite a variety of mushrooms you saw. We are certainly noticing them here, but haven't seen any of the spotted ones.
I believe that spotted one is called Fly Agaric... very attractive but very poisonous.
DeleteYour walk is like a treasure hunt! So much fun to find those little gem-like mushrooms. I had a lot on my lawn during the summer. I think because the grass stayed damp for a long period of time. I guess I don't get out and walk much because I spend so much time on my feet at work. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the mushroom pictures! I've seen a Fly Agaric before, but not the other ones.
