Primroses

After days of heavy rain we're enjoying a sunny one. Amazing how sunshine can raise one's spirits, isn't it?  I did my grocery shopping as per usual on a Friday morning and was happy to see that Primroses are out. I know it's too chilly to put them outside but I want them to cheer up the inside of my house! I will put them out on the porch for night and hopefully then they will keep blooming a long time.

I had intended to buy 6 but they were cheaper if you bought 10 so I did. Six fit nicely on my kitchen windowsill and they others are in the sunroom.

This has nothing to do with Primroses but I found this cute picture on the internet. I do not think my Cinnamon would like wearing a sweater at all!

Thanks for visiting today.  Please leave a comment so I know you were here.

  1. The rabbit with his knitted coat made me smile. Beautiful primroses, they are certainly making me think of Spring. Have a great weekend.

  2. Your primroses are lovely! Nice that you bought ten pots. I have noticed tulips in the grocery stores and keep meaning to buy some. Anything to bring a bit of colour to this time of year.
Love the photo of the bunny in a sweater!

  7. The primroses are beautiful. I'll have to look around and see if anyone has them here. Are they easy to keep alive... I have brownish green thumb... that means that some things survive and others do not!

    1. I'll have them inside until they finish blooming then hopefully it will be nice enough to plant them out. But really, they never look as nice as they do now. I think of them more like cut flowers that last a couple of weeks.

  8. I'm so glad you got the primroses. Those really are bright and cheerful. Our couple of warm sunny days are gone and we are back into rainy, chilly, foggy, dreary weather. Doesn't take much of this to make me feel down. The sunshine totally changes the way I feel.

  9. I meant to say too, that bunny is so adorable. Mr. Bun Bun would have a fit if I tried putting a sweater on him. :)
