The mornings are so chilly these days that I'm really feeling like Fall is here. ( 11C this morning...about 50F I think).
So I thought I'd show you what I've done so far.
I started with my Mom's old Singer sewing machine....
..on to the sideboard
even the dollhouse got a few pumpkins and a tiny basket of apples.
Teddy bear corner got a Fall-ish banner and an orange table topper.
And that, my friends, is how far I got before the porch called me to come sit in what is by afternoon a warm and cozy spot. I hope your day is a fine one.

We brought home an antique sewing machine back in July-it belonged to my husband's great-grandmother. It's very similar to yours and I love the arrangement you have on yours. I think I'll see what I can come up with for mine!
ReplyDeleteI put together a wreath for the front door, but it will sit in the garage until after the Equinox. Summer is a season I do not send off willingly. Fall decorations are fun though.

ReplyDelete50 degrees really would feel like Fall. I can hardly wait. Your Fall colors and decorations are so pretty. Your home always looks neat and clean, and warm and cozy too.

ReplyDeleteSo love the little house decorated for fall and the tiny bears having tea The pumpkins are a nice boost of colour and look so nice on your sideboard and sewing machine. I learned to sew on a machine just like that one some 60 years ago. I loved it, I was only 9 at the time. Fall is closing in on as in the east as well. Sure feel the difference early mornings. We are still enjoying beautiful days.
