It's one of those days when they sun comes out briefly then clouds move in again. There's a breeze so the sun and clouds keep changing. We had a lovely walk at Fish Trap Creek. Lots of Canada Geese and assorted ducks on the water. ( Not a single one in this picture though.)
After we came home and had a cup of coffee GD Kate came to trim Granddad's hair as well as Middle Son's. We're so very fortunate to have our own personal hairdresser!!!! She's been trying to straighten out a whorl or almost a cowlick in the back of my head. It only appeared recently and I really don't like what it does. Here's what my hair looks like when Kate is done with her magic. I should have taken a "before" picture too.
Nothing else is happening so far today. We turned the clocks that needed turning an hour ahead for what we hope is the last time. Now we'll stay on Pacific Time indefinitely. Most people are 100% in favour of this move. A few are disgruntled. Personally I think it should have been done years ago.
I'll never forget the year we walked into church an hour late and the smiles of people who found us amusing. We had no excuse for forgetting to change our clocks!
Have a great week! Thanks for visiting.

I wish here in Quebec they would stop the time change and leave it to one. The province of Ontario, our Canadian neighbour, said that they would stop the time change if we in Quebec, and our American neighbour in New York, does it.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks lovely! Not having a time change would be wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI am not in favor of the time change! I wish we could adopt one time, too, no springing forward nor falling back. (:
ReplyDeleteWell, although there were no geese or ducks in that photograph it looks a very nice peaceful scene.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday Wishes.
All the best Jan
Lovely photograph and your hair looks great! Have a happy day and get some rest from the silly time change! xox, Virginia
ReplyDeleteWe were supposed to do it for the last time awhile back only it fell through.
ReplyDeleteNothing making its way here yet still to cold and the lake is frozen.

I wish we would just stay in this time that we changed to today. I personally like the extra hour of sunlight in the evening. It makes the summer days seem so much longer and most people are more active outside. I know others disagree.
ReplyDeleteYou are so good about going for walks every day. Good for you! I hope to do a lot of walking on the beach in the next few weeks.
Blessings and love,
Betsy
Ha.....we saw a couple come into church towards the end this morning and everybody smiled! Glad we haven't done that yet!
ReplyDeleteFirst: Praise the Lord 🌹💐🌸🌺🌷🌻🥀🌼🪻🪷💮 for all these great and small and wise and wonderful creatures.
ReplyDeleteYou live in a wonderful nature!
And you are blessed with a wonderful family!
We also have our own "personal" of hairdressers: My dear husband and my dear eldest son ****
Your hair ist VERY beautiful! ****
There have been a lot of interesting birds there. Migratory birds are just returning here. There is still 28 cm of snow. A lovely looking place. In Finland, the clocks will be moved forward one hour on March 29. Hopefully the time change will end. Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteI’m delighted for my friends and family in BC where we lived for most of our adult lives. Here in Saskatchewan, not having to fuss with the time has been one of the gifts of moving here.
ReplyDeleteI'm a favor of leaving the clocks alone. I don't mind the falling back an hour, but this springing ahead is a challenge for me. I don't know why, it is only an hour after all. You have such pretty hair. Nice to have a hairdresser who makes house calls.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes. The changing of the clocks. It didn't bother me so much yesterday but today is a different story. :) Once my body adjusts to it, I will be fine. The longer daylight hours in the evening are nice, and I'm not really bothered either way, but I do wish that we would just stick to one time rather than changing it.
ReplyDeleteHow nice that your granddaughter does your hair.
I'd sure like not to have to change the clocks either. It so dark in the morning again!!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks pretty, GM! I wish I had a personal hairdresser! xo
