Hail

I've been complaining a lot about all the rain we've had but would you believe a hailstone large enough to do this kind of damage to my youngest son's car?

No, I didn't think you would. It's my silly idea of an April's Fool joke!
It was no joke though when something accidentally did land on my son's car on the construction site where he was parked just a tad too close to the action!!  He actually managed to drive home with very little visibility and now drives a pick-up truck that hopefully will last longer than the car.

Now that we've turned the calendar page to April I can start posting cute Easter pics!

Have a great weekend.

  1. Oh goodness.....that really did a number on the windshield. Good thing he wasn't in it.

  2. Having just read about hail, which damaged the blogger's roof, you "caught" me with the pic.

    "Naughty You!" ,-)))

So, is that a pic of his car, which was damaged at a construction site? Or just one, from the net? If he drove home with that, he is amazing!!!

Yes, everyone break out the cute Easter illustrations! :-)

    Happy April hugs,

  7. Re: Your comment on my April First post...

Yours was just a fun April Fool's Joke. What I don't like are the really mean-spirited ones. Don't see them much, on the net any more... But "back in the day," they did appear. And me being me, I got "sucked in." And according to plan, I felt foolish.

These are the kind of Jokes, I don't like.

Yours was in NO way, mean-spirited!

    Hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs,

  9. You sure fooled me! I was sitting here with my mouth open thinking, oh no! You know how afraid I am of storms. I could not imagine a hailstone that big!! Glad it was a joke, but that is a lot of damage!! I forgot all about it being April Fools Day. Usually, Poppy pull one on me. He must have forgotten too. Glad it's April!
