  10. We had sunshine and warm weather...so was a good day. Of course, we just had a storm to beat the band a bit ago. But that is okay. Was just so good to be able to sit outside and read.

  12. Oh yes I do make Paska. Well, not this year my heart isn't in it. The recipe I have is my MIL. It's very good but it is alot of work as you know. It makes quite a few loaves. I used to make bread all the time, I've gotten away from it for now, and hope someday I'll get back to it. I only make the overnight sourdough now. For years, I have been very careful about what I buy which might come from China. Especially if it is a food item, or something to eat or drink out of. I didn't know they made all our medications? That needs to change.Let's have a country who really hates us make our medicine, when did that happen?

  13. The flowers are gorgeous! Our daffodils and hyacinths are at their peak right now. Such a welcome splash of color after a drab winter!

Sweet cartoon! Everyone needs a soft shoulder to lean on sometimes.

    Blessings~

  21. Re the quilting on my quilt, I have to guide the fabric. It is called free-motion quilting. The feed dogs are lowered, and the pressure is removed, and I use a what some people call a hopping foot, or darning foot. That way, I can go in direction.

Also, that is why my stitches are not uniform. Some people are a lot better at keeping them rather uniform....and I know at least one other domestic machine has a stitch regulator but mine does not.

Once the quilt is washed the uneven stitches are not that noticeable.
