We're in the middle of a heat wave and although we waited for warm sunshine I must admit this is a bit too warm for my comfort.
On Sunday we left early while it was cooler and took a drive past the heron reserve to go walking the trail by the Chilliwack River. We walked a big loop trail in sunshine for the first half then in shade on the way back. I got very tired and we sat down a few times to rest. It must have been on one of those times that my camera fell out of the backpack. We've carried it that way many times and never had a problem but this time it did fall and neither of us could face retracing our steps. So I am going to have to buy another one but until then I am pictureless.
I'll be back soon!!
Thanks for dropping by.
Granny M
Warm, indeed! I am dreaming of October!
ReplyDeleteoh no ....so very sorry to hear about your camera.
ReplyDeleteWe are enjoying a couple of cooler days, but the heat is coming right back. Some of my pockets aren’t very deep and I am so afraid I am going to lose my phone/camera.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so sorry about your camera. That's too bad and I totally understand not wanting to retrace your steps in the heat. The last couple of days have finally cooled down to the 80's and low 90's. Last Thursday a record was set of 105F. It's too early for this much heat.
ReplyDeleteTake care my dear friend.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
That is a bit of bad luck to loose your camera G.M. Hope the replacement camera is as good- if not better. Best Wishes. KEV.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry about the loss of your camera, hopefully someone will be kind enough to hand it in. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to the heat but here in Florida we are stuck with it for many months to come. I hope it cools down there soon and I'm so sorry about your camera.
ReplyDeleteToo bad about losing your camera!! A shady walk sounds best to me!!
ReplyDeleteWe are having very cool weather but lots of sunshine and it is just perfect for walking.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear you lost your camera. Hope you can replace it soon. Look forward to seeing photos here again.
Dear Granny Marigold, we here in europe also had a hot wafe! There followed some strong thunderstorms, but no danger here where we live, thanks goodness. What a pity that you have lost your camera!
ReplyDeleteWe are cooler today but we'll be heating up to perhaps 100 this weekend. That sounds awful.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your camera.
That's terrible! Hope someone will hand it in.
ReplyDeleteI've heard about the heat wave! stay well in it! So very SORRY about the camera loss! :( I will keep reading with or without pictures :) God's blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you lost your camera. We've had some very hot weather too and it just drains you. Even without pictures you write an interesting post.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so sorry about the loss of the camera. That is so upsetting. Yes, it's just an object, but still, it feels very bad to lose something. Trying to walk in extreme heat is just exhausting. These "heat domes" are just miserable. We are in the triple digits every day plus humidity that never leads to any precipitation. I hope you get a new camera soon or miraculously get that one back.
