The pictures that I couldn't find earlier this week have magically appeared in the right folder. How does that happen? Oh well, at least they came back. This first pic is of the 3 books I bought for a grand total of $1.25 at the thrift store. The 2 on the right I tried reading but found them uninteresting. I am now reading the third one and I think it may be okay.
That skiff of snow we got a few days ago.
Bush tits at the suet. I took these pictures through the living room window.
This is the tea pot I'm using this week The little tablecloth underneath is a recent thrift store find. I love the cutwork. ( At least I think that's what it's called).
The other side of the teapot is plain.
The corners of the cloth are fancy too.
This piece is, if I'm right, linen and also has cut work and some kind of embroidery.
I hope you have a great weekend. Granny Marigold
Beautiful tablecloth but I wouldn't like ironing it. $1.25 is still a good deal if you enjoy that one book. Sharing what you learn with us would be great! Lovely tea pot to enjoy your tea from! Have a great week-end too! Nancy
ReplyDeleteI would call that cut work too. It's so pretty! I like the cute little teapot.
ReplyDeleteYour window is really clean, GM! Great photo!
ReplyDeleteThe bush tits flock to our suet feeder too. so cute.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love computers? I never did find the batch of photos that disappeared on me last week.
ReplyDeleteI love the photos of the bush tits. Very pretty.
Beautiful new tablecloth!
Your front yard looks lovely.
Bummer about the books and the photos. I don't like when things go wrong on the computer. Takes me forever to figure it all out.
ReplyDeleteYour tablecloth is lovely and the tea pot is adorable.
The birds appear to have found the right house to visit on a cold winter day.
So glad you found your photos! Beautiful tablecloth, such wonderful handwork. I collect snowmen so love your teapot. It seems like the big, fat, noisey bluebirds are the only birds at our feeder.
