Thrifty Tuesday

Tuesdays seem to be my day to go to a thrift store and today was no exception.  I came home 2 hours later with a pair of grey jeans, a pair of  black pants, a skirt, a book ( Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger better known as the author of The Time Traveler's Wife),  and just for fun, this candle.  The grands now know about the Legendary crying Tiki of Polynesia. Apparently they "cry" black lava tears.  After this candle burned a few minutes  we watched as the wax flowed from the Tiki's eyes. Well, mostly from the left eye but still, we got the idea.  Oh yes, all those treasures? A grand total of ten dollars.  Don't you love thrift store shopping?

Thanks for coming by.   I love reading your comments and although I may not reply to them I read every single one.
