Surprise!!!

We had a surprise snowfall this afternoon. In fact it's still snowing and quite likely will continue all night. I'd been wishing we'd get at least some snow this winter....looks like I'm getting my wish. Now, of course, I'm hoping it doesn't stay too long. There's no pleasing some folks.

I took this picture through the sunroom window.  There were a lot of birds at the feeder earlier, now they've all gone somewhere to wait it out I guess.

We decided to go for a walk in the snow. Walking through the park we were about the only people out.

Now it really feels like winter.

One last picture ( off the internet). Do you see anything wrong with it?

  2. New snowfall is fun!
About that sign, I can only guess that there is another curve ahead that goes the other way? Kind of makes me think of our local train derailment where the curve went one way and the train went the other way. We are watching a review of the mishap right now on the news.

  4. Pretty snow fall, and it looks like they have the arrow in the photo pointing the wrong way for the curve. Is that it?

  6. I'm wondering if the snow is going to stick around until Christmas! At 10:30 at night it is still dripping out there, so not freezing yet. Always fun to see it come, the snow, but it doesn't take long for me to get sick it.
I'm going to assume with the road sign that there is a left hand bend coming up quickly after the right one.

  10. Please keep that mess to yourself. We've already had our fill of it for this winter, and winter only just began.

  11. I'm a little jealous of that pretty snow. It's good to take a walk in, esp. with no one else about. Enjoy the flakes!!
