Teacup Tuesday

Some days teacups just seem to jump into my shopping basket.  And if they're priced right I let them stay.  These first two were just a dollar each. The one on the left was made by Colclough, the other one by Sutherland ( in case you're interested).

These were a little more ( $4) . Still a good deal. The left one made by Elizabethan, the right one Cotswold.

I saved my favourites for last... Queen Anne on the left, Phoenix on the right.

Do you have a favourite?

Thanks for visiting today and letting me share my pretty additions to my collection.  And, before you ask, yes, I do have a tiny bit of space left to put them.

  2. Hmmm, it's a toss-up between the Sutherland and the Queen Anne... my favorite would probably be the Sutherland for the striking red of the roses. I have a couple teacups and saucers that were my [step]grandmother's. I'll have to put them in a post sometime soon so you can see them. Blessings! ♥

  5. They are all really pretty, but I like the middle two with the delicate roses best. And so reasonably priced! Where did you go shopping?

    1. I love shopping at thrift stores! And garage sales too. It's a lot of fun for not much money.

  6. The Colclough is my favorite. If I ever make it to BC again I should shop in thrift stores!

  10. Hmmm. If I had to pick, I think it would be the Elizabethan. LOL, you answered my question before I asked it! :)

  12. I am still amazed at all the pretty teacups you find. I thought about you yesterday when I actually had a cup of tea and drank it from a pretty teacup. You know, I'm really not a hot tea drinker but for some reason wanted a cup yesterday. Thought it might taste better in a pretty cup, and it did. My favorite of your latest finds is the Elizabethan. Thank you the nice comment you left on Lynn's post.

  13. The Elizabethan one would be my favorite, hands down! I resisted and walked away from a collection of vintage cups & saucers at a g.s. last week, each priced at $3.50. At the time I was very proud of myself for resisting temptation, now I'm rather put out that I didn't buy at least one!

  15. Your tea cups are beautiful. You live in a special place to find so many treasures! My husband would prefer me to not buy breakable items...but I would have a hard time passing these by especially with the good prices. When he mentioned the breakable words to me...I thought that is okay...I can buy linens. LOL

  17. I'd say of those, Phoenix is my favorite. You should open a Tea Shop, GM! How pretty that would be!
