Another day of glorious sunshine. I walked before it got too warm and in any case I prefer walking after breakfast but before I start the main chores I intend to do that day. The first 2 pics I took in the front yard as I was leaving.
My Cowslips came through the winter and some of the other Primroses as well.
This tree is in a front yard I walk past.
These Tulips are right at the gate to the park itself with what I think is Candytuft planted in front.
And here's my destination. There was a canoe on the water but too far away to show up. I'm sure it must have been peaceful out on the lake.
Thanks for visiting today. I hope your day is as peaceful and relaxing as possible.

Your gardens are so beautiful! Nothing is blooming here yet but a few daffodils and crocuses. Soon hopefully!
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Hi Robin, So nice to have a word from you. I wondered if you were okay.
DeleteSpring is bursting out in your neighborhood! Thank you for taking us along on the flowery walk. It's afternoon and I haven't taken my walk yet... but the sun only just came out. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed going along on your walk! Thank you for sharing. I've never heard of Candytuft but it is beautiful! I love the trees in bloom. We have a redbud tree blooming now - late this year due to the weather.
ReplyDeleteWe skipped our walk today because we were just too tired from working in the yard this week. Instead we found more jobs to do outside until 1:00, when we cleaned up for lunch outside on the patio! Since then I have been reading outside, in the shade, since it is 82 degrees. This all comes to an end tomorrow so I'm making the most of my "summer" afternoon.
ReplyDeleteOur flowering cherry, just like the pink one you showed, has burst into bloom! Beautiful, but won't last long before there is a big pink mess on the patio. The fruit trees are in full bloom as well, and I watched bees working the pear tree, so fingers crossed for a good harvest this year. Lovely flower shots! It's such a pretty time of year.
ReplyDeleteSpring has truly come to your area in a big way - those beds of flowers are stunning!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to see your flowers in bloom! Seems like a couple of red tulips wanted to show up the Candytuft! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos, you captured the very essence of the season.
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful flowers sure put my weedy little patches to shame. :) You grow such big healthy looking flowers. Doesn't it feel good to have spring finally arrive.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed tagging along on your walk. So nice to see what's blooming in your area. Everything looks so beautiful. Our tulips are all done around here. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all the beautiful flowers and flowering trees! I think I can just make out that canoe on the lake. :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenery along your walk this morning.
ReplyDeleteI like to walk the very first thing when I get up. I get dressed and out the door I go. Always like to hear of others walking too. : )
Very peaceful destination on your walk! Here it is just starting to get greener, but the ground is frozen yet a little ways down.
ReplyDeleteYou live in such a beautiful place, the lake looks lovely and calm and all those tulips were just wonderful xx
