Tea Cup Tuesday

I found three pretty tea cups at the thrift store this week. I couldn't resist the dark red roses on these two...



...and this cup ( which is much lovelier than the photo shows)  has been added to my "made in Japan" collection. It cost me fifty cents.    ( The line across it is a shadow).




         I chose as today's poem one by Elizabeth Godley.  I love the poem and also the illustrations.
         Try reading it aloud.  Let me know if it appeals to you as it does to me.

  2. All the tea cups are very pretty. I like the bottom one as it out of the norm of cups with flowers, it so different. I love poetry and have written a few poems and children's stories. Have a great day!
