Wordless Wednesday.... Morning Walk in the Park

Although it's supposed to be wordless I just want to explain this last picture.  One thing that the Covid virus has brought about is more little gatherings like this one in the park. My guess is that these seniors used to meet in a coffee shop.  Now I see them bringing lawn chairs and coffee as they settle down under these trees.  Today must have been someone's birthday. I think this is so neat.

Thanks for coming by today.  G.M.

  2. Oh I do love outside get togethers! I think everyone is going to miss the park dates and the patio meetings when the weather gets cold! Yikes!

  3. This little sqiurrel looks like being good friend with the roots of the tree, same colour, same form :)

The people gathering in the garden look friendly. Thank you for explaining this photo.

What a beautiful house! And beautiful roses!

  4. My ladies group did the same in the spring. When summer came it was just too hot where we live to set outside for too long. Enjoyed today's pictures!

  5. That is a beautiful house. I would love to live there and just sit on the porch day after day and crochet and knit.
We seem to see more people outside too. I sure hope we can have actual gatherings soon.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  6. I do think the great outdoors are becoming more appreciated than before :) We are waiting for cooler weather before we can sit outside like that.

  7. I wonder if people will keep meeting outdoors even when the weather is brisk. I hope so! It's healthy in many ways. (Says she who is very wimpy about cold weather!)

  8. Hi GM- My Partner use to do Ti-Chi at a Hall across town - now because of restrictions about five of the Girls meet each week in the gardens of a botanical garden for coffee and a chat - they sit around on the grass in a spaced out circle distance. At least Chris is getting out once a week for a few hours of enjoyment. Regards. KEV. (Sydney-Australia).

  10. I have seen a few gatherings here of people sitting outside, all socially distanced. It looks so much more enjoyable than sitting in a crowded noisy cafe.
That house certainly has a lot of character, and I love the rose and the little squirrel :)
