Just a few things happening in my kitchen in the past few days.... cinnamon buns ( dough made in the breadmaker),
peach/blueberry crisps.... I like making them in ramekins
peach jam
and the very first ripe tomato from our garden! I wish I'd thought to include Basil in my photo. I have a lovely crop of it.
We're having a bit of rain today, for which we are very thankful, and hopeful that it continues all day!!
Thanks for coming by, Granny M.
There you go again, making good stuff to eat! :) Yummmmy!
ReplyDeleteI have an incredible sweet tooth so try to make goodies with reduced sugar because there's no way I'm having NO sugar. Once in a long while I'll have a chocolate bar....love those too much!!
DeleteWish I didn't live 1500 miles away - I would invite myself over for coffee! Those cinnamon buns look so delicious. Do you put a glaze or icing on them? Chris
ReplyDeleteThe first day ones get iced then the others get split, toasted, and buttered. Yumm!
DeleteHad just a minute so I caught up on your last three posts. The drying Lavender is so pretty. I love the old fashioned look of the room and the oil lamp. I can imaging how good the Lavender must smell. Love the things your found at the garage sale. That's what I need to do on Saturday morning. Maybe I would find a teacup.
ReplyDeleteThe cinnamon buns look really delicious. I have a crate of peaches that are ripening. I am going to try some peach cinnamon buns after I finish cooking the jam. I added raspberries to the jam, so I hope the flavor isn't too weird. Phil/Eagle Bend MN.
ReplyDeletePeach cinnamon buns sound so good! Let me know how the jam turns out
Delete( bet that will be yummy as well).
I have not made cinnamon buns in ages. Yours look so delicious. The peach jam looks yummy too! Nancy
