Pioneer Woman

I happened upon an old post by Pioneer Woman ( Ree Drummond, as I'm sure you know), and the post was titled Ten Important Things I've Learned about Blogging.  I'm not going to list them all, just the ones that struck me
. For instance---Be Yourself, write as if you're talking to your sister.   Okay, I can ( and probably already) do that.

Blog often.  ( I try but often have not much to blog about).

Be Varied..... never blog about the same topic twice. ( WHAT?  Does she really mean that?)

Don't be afraid to embarrass yourself.  (Ha! Ha!)

Try your best to use words correctly and use proper grammar. ( I do try but don't always succeed.)

Value every person who takes time out of their day to stop by your blog.  ( I do appreciate each one of you.  Especially if you've read this entire post..   BTW She had over 850 comments that day. So feel free to leave one so I know you're visiting today.)

  1. I remember reading that a few years ago! I've failed miserably at most of it, oh well:) I enjoy reading your blog:)

  2. I don't read that blog. But I do read yours! I think of my blog as my own personal space and within that space I can do what ever I want...no pressure...over the years it is a comfy place. I don't follow any of the "rules" :)
