First Day of Winter





Happy first day of winter although I think the past ten days or so of snow and cold were enough winter for my liking. Temperatures have risen and the snow is melting and although a white Christmas would have been  nice, I'm quite okay with milder weather.                                  

        Just a few more days to get final things done. I'm ready, are you?

    I have such a feeling of optimism when we pass the shortest day! Almost ready for Christmas here. I think we are going to be able to say that we have a sort of white Christmas. Lots of snow left here, but pretty darn dreary looking this morning.

    I think our snow will hang on into Christmas. We are warming up from the very sub-zero stuff, which is nice! Have a wonderful Christmas with your family. :)

    Christmas will warm us even if the outside temps are low. Cold air makes me sleepy.

    I have a few more goodies to make and I need to wrap hubby's gifts and make a wreath to put at my mom's grave. Then I am done!
