A Sunday Walk and some Books

I know it's Tuesday  and I'm only now posting about our Sunday walk but the weather has been so lovely and I've been outside as much as possible.

A quick trip to the thrift store this morning got me these two books. The first is a Susan Branch and I always look for her books!! I stuck the Follow your Heart tag on the spot where the thrift store had stuck the price. I could not get the sticky residue off.

Take Three has lots of colour pictures to inspire me and 200 fabulous fuss-free recipes using three ingredients or less!  How could I not buy it.

I hope you're enjoying lovely weather too. Have a great week!!

  2. Lucky you, finding a Susan Branch book! We're kind of cold and drizzly, but it makes being indoors just that much more pleasant. Blessings on you!

  3. It's supposed to warm up considerably for the next two days, before we return to fall weather. It will be a great evening for a sounders game at the stadium tomorrow.

  9. Wonderful finds. Lighter fluid is great for removing sticky tags and not damaging the surface.

    2. I meant to say also that my given name is Mary Jane but I noticed many don't give their names on their blogs. I'm not sure why not but I just followed suit. You can call me MJ or even GM as some others do. ( My granddaughter gave me the name Granny Marigold many years ago)
