Friday's Flowers and a Few Thrifty Finds



My Amaryllis is still blooming. Only one of the 4 current flowers has faded and been cut off so far.


This little bunch of Gerbera Daissies was what I chose at the grocery store this morning.


A visit to the thrift store this week resulted in a couple of small treasures.
This little 'jar' is a Marjolein Bastin product and joins some others that I already have on a small windowsill.



This tea cup by Royal Chelsea looked so pretty and so inexpensive that I had to bring it home.

    That Amaryilis is just gorgeous...as beautiful as any red ones I've seen. Great finds at the thrift store! The little jar...is that a jam jar? I would never use it because of her beautiful design. It is so delicate and looks beautiful there with your collection.

      I'm not sure what, if anything, that little jar was meant for. Maybe just to look nice.

    Your flowers are lovely! I've never seen an amaryllis that color, it's beautiful. You scored some beautiful finds at the thrift!

    That little jar is so dainty and pretty. I love those pretty daisies too. The weather is so gloomy here today, a few brightly colored flowers would help a lot.
