Just yesterday I posted a picture of an early snowfall 14 years ago. Then this morning we awoke to snow which kept falling for several hours. I took the first 2 pictures on our walk. In the second one you can see how high the water still is and how close to the path around the lake. The third picture was taken by my DIL.
Eldest daughter came for lunch and brought this lovely arrangement that she made. I wish I'd have set it in front of my little sign to hide it. That sign eliminates a lot of unwanted knocks at the door.
She is forever sketching things and apparently she saw this on Pinterest and did a quick drawing that she knew I'd like. She even put some glitter for snow.

Wishing you a pleasant weekend. Thanks for visiting, GM
I enjoy this snow! I think the snow did nt want to be longer just history :)
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is an artist! I like the flower-pot and the drawing with the sheep. I think you will put the arrangement now in front of the sign, but maybe they will ring at your door now very often.. :)
You got your snow. :) So pretty. The arrangement is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe snow is very pretty. Your daughter's arrangement is just gorgeous and her drawing is adorable! What talent...

We're hoping the snow stays up north and in our mountains.

I think snow is so pretty . . . especially when it is somewhere other than my house, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI have a huge driveway and I'm always afraid we'll get a snow that will keep me home.

Your daughter is so talented an artist. She seems to have an artistic eye no matter the medium. I like your sign and I have two similar signs, and still the knocks! I can't believe that high water and the snow. Incredible. And we were hot today and had to sit in the shade! I just love that teacup. Does it have mother of pearl finish? I am a total sucker for a lustre finish.
ReplyDeleteHi G.M. Snow is pretty- I've never been in Snow or seen it falling...must be wonderful- and cold. Your daughter is very grafty- lovely arrangement for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow! I'm a bit jealous :) You are very wet out there, and we are OH SO dry here. The snow really is lovely, and your daughter's arrangement is just perfect! What a welcome by the front door. You're so lucky to have your family close by.

ReplyDeleteI thought think I’ve said it before, Mom is my biggest fan and I am so grateful for her appreciative support. Thanks too for all your kind comments, it’s been a bit of a tough week so far as I’m doing a top to bottom cleanup of my little place and you all cheered me up so much!
