Here it is Monday again and for me that means laundry. Now my laundry has been dealt with and lunch is done so I plan on putting my feet up for a while. It's mild today and the snow is melting. Yesterday
we actually saw sunshine!!
Here are some pictures that daughter Sheila took when she tried to walk around FishTrap Creek. She had to turn back because the paths were not cleared and were very snowy and icy. We're expecting heavy rain beginning tomorrow and I think that should deal with the snow quite quickly.
I hope your week is off to a good start. Thanks for coming by, GM
Fish Trap Creek! What a catchy little name. I would love to hike there when conditions were a little better. Laundry day here too. I was a little behind because of last week's bad weather. Everything has been brought in off the line except for jeans which take longest to dry. We are gaining a minute of daylight every afternoon so that is beginning to help.
ReplyDeleteWOW! That looks cold! We are supposed to have warmer weather the next 3 days before it cools off again. There is a Fish Trap lake not far from where we used to live in Washington.
ReplyDeleteI did my laundry last night because I thought the contractors were coming back today. I was wrong. They'll be here tomorrow so I had the day "free". I organized my yarn better and did some knitting.
Blessings,
Betsy
The pictures are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThese Mondays sure roll around fast.
Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteO Monday is your laundry day1 My Mondays are cleaning-the-house-day!! A good feeling, when good work is done! :)
ReplyDeleteSorry for many rain will come and melt the beautiful clean snow. But life in many snow is hard! The photos of your daughter are beautiful! We have some snow now again. Snow is a short guest, the climate changes into warmer all over the globe.....
We are fortunate to have all of our snow melted away and clear sidewalks to walk on during these few days of no rain.
ReplyDeleteThe sun looks like fire in the sky!
ReplyDeleteThe snowy scenes sure are pretty. Kind of a shame to think the rain will wash it all away.
ReplyDeletethis is Wash Day for me too! All is done now, dinner has been made and I wish I could just sit and relax. Such is not the case tonight for me. Praying tomorrow will be better. Take care!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard for me to fathom the amount of snow and ice you have! Beautiful, but so treacherous! I hope the rain gets rid of the ice pronto. Oh yes, "Monday, wash day!" -- here, too -- but I think I run the washer most every day, ha ha. The chiweenie is a stinky little dog and he must be on me, near me, etc all day long! Makes a lot to wash.
ReplyDeleteNice snowy landscapes!
ReplyDeleteLooks very chilly there! Today is our cold day too. Glad you are inside and cozy :) Yesterday was laundry day here too.
ReplyDeleteSaturday is my laundry day. Been that way for years when I worked outside the home & when we retired, just kept that up. It's nice, no matter WHAT day, when it's done for the week and you can kick back as you say!!
ReplyDeleteThose snowy views on her walk are truly stunning! Cold but beautiful!!
Gorgeous shots!
ReplyDeleteWe are expecting rains too . . . that are suppose to turn everything to ice for a while. Guess this gal will be staying inside. I sure don't want to fall.
ReplyDeletePretty snow scenery that will be washed away by your rain, we hate rain here as it is then very icy:(
ReplyDeleteWOW! It surely doesn't look safe to go out there. What if you had the kind of boots with spikes on the bottom? Or maybe you already mentioned those in another snowy-icy post.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have a warm house, with windows you can look out through, to the beautiful snow.
Such beautiful pictures your daughter took! You remind me that my dryer went off a while back and I need to hang the clothes before they wrinkle. Too late, I think, lol. Glad you're having warmer weather!
ReplyDeleteMondays roll around quickly, don't they? Now here it is Wednesday! The pictures are beautiful. It looks so cold and icy.
ReplyDeleteI love the wash-dry-fold-repeat picture - it describes laundry work perfectly. It just never ends!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week :)
Love those pictures. So very pretty and looks like they should be in a magazine. Sure sounds mighty cold GM in your part of the woods. Temps here have been cold in the mornings but by lunch time it's been nice. I wouldn't mind a little more cold myself so at least I could use my fireplace. And my mercy, it won't be long till it be so hot here! BEACH TIME! LOL! Happy week to you. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteSheila's photos are lovely. Thank you for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh! Thank goodness for the beautiful sunshine rearing its head on a winter day.
ReplyDeleteWe drove from Abbotsford to Chilliwack once with our daughter and her family and were amazed at the number of eagles along the river.
