Monday Chit Chat

Are you ready for the week ahead?  I know it will be a busy one for many. I think I'm about done getting ready except for baking more cookies.  Our tree in the sunroom is an all-white one this year.

Almost every year I manage to drop an ornament and this year was no exception.

Our weather remains cold and the snow and ice are not melting. Miss Kitty was confused by her first experience with snow and kept shaking it off her paws.  She was surprised when she jumped up on the birdbath expecting to have a drink and found only ice. ( She has a perfectly fine dish of water but prefers puddles or the birdbath.)

Thanks for coming by,  G.M.

  3. I'm not making cookies, but have a good start on the decorating, which is pretty early for me. With any luck I'll finish things up today or tomorrow. Then have a bit of wrapping to do. Cute picture of Miss Kitty looking for water.

  5. Laughing at dropping an ornament. It never fails for me! LOL! Baking lemon orange coffee cakes this morning to freeze for gifts and my kitchen is smelling mighty good. WOW! Snow!!!! It's still quite warm here. Happy December dear GM. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  6. Your all white tree looks very pretty. I hope you weren't too attached to that ornament. They are so fragile. We've had a few broken objects here in the last week. Mrs. Pilgrim will be without her mate next year. LOL
That must have been perplexing to your sweet kitty.

  7. Our decorating is done too. Now to start the cookie baking, after the Monday housework and laundry, and the field trip tomorrow and, well, it'll get done. It always does.
Cats do seem to like to forage for their own water.

  11. Love your pretty tree and the pretty snow outside....looks the same here. Does your kitty get to come inside sometimes? Hope so....so cold out there. Did you keep a kitten too? I can't remember. Trying to get most of my wrapping done.....I don't bake a lot but have a lot of things coming in time for Christmas and company.
