I think it was 2 weeks ago that I found a cute little saucer glued onto the top of a glass candlestick. You can see it here to the left of the pink cookbook. When I was last at the thrift store I found another one ( .80) and two of the same kind of candlestick that it had ( .25 each).
The .80 cent one is the pink bordered one on the left. The two in the front I "made" which really just means my DH brought his good glue in and ran a bead around the top of the candlesticks and I put the saucer on and left it to dry overnight. I have no idea what I'll do with them but I find them appealing .
My other small project involved my Modge Podged leaves which I taped on to a length of fibre/wool and hung over the doorway to the sunroom. The MP gives them a bit of shine and makes them a little less brittle.
I hope you are having a lovely Friday. Here the sun is shining and it is simply gorgeous outside. Not too hot and not too chilly!

The leaves look great! I want to do that, too! Thank you for the idea, GM.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great way to use those leaves!! Would never have thought about Modge Podge on them. I love those little plates glued on candle sticks also. I have one and I use it to put cookies on or you could put candy on them. Nancy
